Editorial policy
How we work.
Independence. Editorial decisions — rankings, ratings, recommendations and analysis — are made independently of any commercial relationship. Sponsors and affiliate partners do not see content before publication and cannot influence a score.
Sourcing. Every legally sensitive claim (regulator status, license, availability by jurisdiction) must cite at least one primary source — regulator record, court filing, operator terms of service or on-record operator statement. Each source is stored with title, publisher, URL, publication date, date accessed and source type, and rendered in a Sources section on the public page. See our Review Methodology for the full evidence standard.
Authorship & review. Every review, state page, guide and news article carries a named author byline linked to their author profile, plus a named reviewer where the piece has been fact-checked by a second editor. Person schema is emitted on every author page.
Update cycle. Reviews are re-tested at least every six months, and immediately after any material change to fees, regulation, ownership or product. The "Updated" date reflects the most recent editorial change, not a mechanical rebuild.
Legally sensitive changes. Edits to regulator status, license claims and jurisdictional availability route through an internal review queue with evidence attached before they publish. Non-sensitive edits publish directly.
Corrections. We correct material errors prominently and log the change. Email corrections@hunchmarkets.com with the URL, the claim and any supporting sources.
Conflicts of interest. Members of the HunchMarkets team are restricted from holding meaningful positions on any platform they cover, and disclose any material conflict at the point of publication.
